What is Client brief?

Client brief is the collected information about the client's goal, audience, constraints, inputs and approval process used to shape an offer.

Why it matters

A useful brief replaces guesswork with facts you can price and schedule. It reveals missing decisions before they become delivery problems. The brief also helps you challenge a requested output that does not match the stated goal.

How to use it

  1. Ask what outcome the client wants from the work.
  2. Collect required formats, inputs and existing materials.
  3. Identify who gives feedback and final approval.
  4. Confirm deadlines, dependencies and known constraints.

The free OfferForBusiness preview highlights questions that may still be missing from the brief. Run it before turning the client's request into a final offer.
